Two new states joined the WeedSOFT® Project in 2006
OHIO and PENNSYLVANIA


*** NOTE: The Illinois version of the WeedSOFT® ADVISOR database was not updated for 2006. The ADVISOR program is the new version, however, the treatment database contains 2005 data. Also, new crop features such as pasture/range and winter wheat fallow are not included.***

WeedSOFT® ADVISOR 2006

  • Pasture/Range added as a new Crop.
  • Added new crop - "Winter Wheat Fallow" and new Treatment Type - "Fallow".
  • User may select up to three treatments for side-by-side comparison.
  • Added Weed Lifecycle designators (Summer Annual, Winter Annual, etc.) for weeds displayed in the Decision window.
  • Enable Tank Mix Calculator to split a Full and a Partial load into 2 equal loads.
  • Application and Crop windows have been combined because of their close relationship and to enable better interaction.

WeedMapper and Pocket WeedMapper

  • Preview versions of WeedSOFT® weed mapping software
  • Create Field Maps from COQs or FSA maps
  • Easier synchronization with Pocket PC
  • Save WeedMapper files to ESRI Shapefile format

WeedSOFT® WeedVIEW 2006

  • No major changes.
  • Available for all state versions.

WeedSOFT® MapVIEW 2006

(Nebraska Only)
  • More dynamic browsing and zooming to areas of interest.
  • You may now print MapVIEW maps.
  • All Nebraska counties are now included in MapVIEW.

WeedSOFT® EnviroFX 2006

Available For All 9 States.
  • EnviroFX can be used to determine some of the potential environmental impacts of specific herbicide treatments. By specifying a product name and providing information about your soil properties and water table depth, you can obtain several factors determining environmental impact. These include: relative herbicide mobility, relative soil permeability to leaching, a combined herbicide/soil ranking and the potential for a herbicide to reach groundwater.
